Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa January 10, 2023 The regular meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held January 10, 2023, 12:00 noon at the City Hall council chambers. Present were Jim Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Employees present was Karla Uhl, Teresa Steinhoff, Nate LeFebvre and Jayden McFarland. Also present was Mayor Brent Streck. Motion by Daniel Comes second by Chris Blake to approve minutes from the previous meeting. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve payment of bills as presented. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve Resolution authorizing $49,184.73 to City of Mapleton as 3% in lieu of taxes. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Daniel Comes, second by Jim Else to approve the health insurance renewal with Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Next meeting will be February 14, 2023.
