City of Ute SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING Monday, October 16, 2023 –. City Hall 7:00 p.m. The Ute City Council met with Mayor Hageman in special session on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 7pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall with the following council members present: Jimmy Carlson, Josh Gotto, Matt Leitz, Becky Miller, Ryan Pithan. The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by Mayor Hageman. Motion by Gotto, seconded by Carlson to approve the agenda. All ayes. MC Discussion held on if the City should request an audit. Pithan informed the rest of council that an audit will need to be done for Fiscal Year 2024 due to the water tower project. No action taken. Council received 3 applications for the City Clerk Position. Job applications were reviewed by City Council and Miller made a motion to set up an interview with acting City Clerk, Megan Peitsch at 6:30 PM on November 6th, 2023, seconded by Pithan. All Ayes. MC. The possible motion to hire for a full time city clerk position will be tabled until the regular Council Meeting at Nov 6, 2023 at 7:00 PM.
