City of Ute REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING Monday, May 1, 2023 – City Hall 7:00 p.m. The Ute City Council met with Mayor Hageman in regular, open session on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 7pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall with the following council members present: Jimmy Carlson, Josh Gotto, Matt Leitz, Becky Miller, Ryan Pithan. Also Present: City Clerk Leah Schwery, Public Works Superintendent Lonnie Carlson. The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by Mayor Hageman. Motion by Carlson, seconded by Gotto to approve the agenda. All ayes. MC Motion by Pithan, second by Carlson to approve the resolution designating low bidder award for the Construction of 2022 Water System Improvements, CDBG Project No. 21-WS-008. All ayes. MC Motion by Pithan, second by Carlson to approve resolution making award of construction contract to Maguire Iron and King Construction for the 2022 Water Systems Improvement, CDBGsd Project No. 21-WS-008. Mayor’s Report: Building permits approved – Buddy Leising deck. Motion by Carlson, second by Gotto to approve Lonnie to get a portable restroom for the park. All ayes. MC City Clean-up Days May 5th-8th, 2023. No curbside pickup. Dumpsters will be at the Ute Town & Country. Appliance tags will be available for purchase at City Hall.
