City of Ute REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING August 1, 2022 – City Hall The Ute City Council met with Mayor Richard Hageman in regular, open session on August 1, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. Council members present: Becky Miller, Jimmy Carlson, and Matt Leitz. Absent: Ciera Carlson and Ryan Pithan. Also present Lonnie Carlson. Motion by JCarlson/Miller to approve the agenda. All ayes. MC Building permits approved: Ken Mofitt – shed; Kevin Savery – shed; Gary Goslar – roof over patio. Lonnie stated he had spoken to JEO Consulting about installing a parshall flume at the lagoon and they estimated the total cost would be $40,930.00 to complete the project. The estimate included a new flow meter but Lonnie stated that our existing flow meter should work with it. He is going to contact Justin Meter to get further information. Leitz stated their family was buying new legs for the concrete table they had donated in memory of Marilyn Meseck. It is currently located at the ballfield but since the ballfield isn’t being used as much they would like to move it to the park. Council agreed. Motion by Leitz/JCarlson to approve consent agenda. a. Approval of Minutes for July 11, 2022 Meeting b. Approval of July 2022 bills c. Approval of Liquor License Renewal for Sparetime Class C License with Sunday sales and Town and Country. All Ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Leitz/Miller to approve Resolution 2022-17: A Resolution fixing the date for a public hearing on the propsal to enter into a development agreement with Kyle and Christy Schultz. All Ayes. MC The Charter Oak-Ute Community District Special Election on ten year bond renewal will he Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 7:00 am – 8:pm at City Hall. The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2022 from 7:00 am – 8:00 pm at City Hall. The next regular meeting set for Tuesday, September 1, 2022, 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Motion by JCarlson/Miller to adjourn the meeting at 7:17 pm. All ayes. Motion carried.
