CHARTER OAK-UTE COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR BOARD MEETING OCTOBER 18, 2023 The Board of Directors of the Charter Oak-Ute School met on the above date in Charter Oak Center with Directors Weed, Schultz, McAndrews, Superintendent Eggeling and Secretary Carstens present. Director Goslar and Klinker were absent. President Weed called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. It was moved by Schultz, seconded by McAndrews to approve the Regular Meeting Agenda as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by McAndrews, seconded by Schultz to approve the consent items. Ayes all. Motion carried. Approval of the Minutes of Regular Meeting on September 13, 2023 Fundraising Approvals All Financial Reports Invoices for Payment Superintendent Eggeling discussed enrollment numbers this year is 279.2 down 8 kids, election day November 7, camera system, bus sale, vehicles, and social worker with AEA and employment vacancies. It was moved by McAndrews, seconded by Schultz to appoint Jill Klinker as the IASB Delegate. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Schultz, seconded by McAndrews to approve the 2022-2023 Special Education Report. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Schultz, seconded by McAndrews to approve the 2022-2023 Modified Growth and Support Aide for Special Education. Roll Call vote: McAndrews – Ayes, Weed – Ayes, Schultz – Ayes, Klinker – Absent, Goslar – Absent. Motion carried. It was moved by Schultz, seconded by McAndrews to approve the 2022-2023 Transportation Report. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by McAndrews, seconded by Schultz to approve the 2022-2023 CAR Report. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Schultz, seconded by McAndrews to set the November Board meeting on November 15, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Ayes all. Motion carried. The board discussed future agenda: board policies and constructions. There being no further business it was moved by McAndrews, seconded by Schultz to adjourn the meeting 6:55 p.m. Ayes all.
