Charter Oak City Council Special Meeting Minutes March 28, 2024 The Charter Oak City Council met in a special meeting on Thursday March 28, 2024. Mayor Peggy Staley called the meeting to order at 7:24 PM. Members present were Alec Castillo, Tracy Helmhold and Nate Mohr. Others in attendance were Ashley Mohr. Motion Castillo/Helmhold to approve the agenda. All ayes. Motion carried. Motion Mohr/Castillo to approve setting a date for a public hearing “Adopting FY 2024/2025 Budget” for April 22, 2024, at 7:00 PM with a special meeting to follow with Resolution No. 04-22-2024 “Adopting FY 2024/2025 Budget”. All ayes. Motion carried. Council discussed Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance bids for full-time city employees. No action taken. Motion Castillo/Helmhold to table agenda item #6, lack of quorum, council member Mohr abstained due to conflict of interest. All ayes. Motion carried. Motion Mohr/Castillo to adjourn at 8:52 PM.
