Monona County Sanitary Landfill Agency Regular Board Meeting October 14th, 2025 Chairman Keith Zediker called the meeting to order at 9:38 a.m. Present: Keith Zediker, Kirk Rose, Ryan Clark, Charles Persinger, Manager Logan Persinger, Secretary/Board Secretary Amanda Yanak, Absent: Becky Miller Approval of Minutes: Board meeting minutes from September 16th, 2025 were presented by A. Yanak. C. Persinger made a motion to accept the minutes. R. Clark seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. No further discussion. Treasurer’s Report: A. Yanak presented the expenditures and CD’s were reviewed. In September, expenditures equaled $62,1118.61 and deposits equaled $36,648.96. R. Clark made a motion to accept the financial statement and CD’s. K. Rose seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Secretary’s Report: A. Yanak stated Kelsey from Schroer and Associates completed the FY 24/25 Audit on September 29th, 2025. The audit findings were favorable, and Kelsey will provide a follow-up report to the Board in the coming months. Manager’s Report: L. Persinger reported that the landfill and transfer station inspections were completed on October 7th, 2025. Both inspections passed without any issues, and the results will be submitted to the DNR. L. Persinger stated he is waiting for one additional quote for new telehandler tires. Discussion will be held at the next meeting. C. Persinger made a motion to begin short-term disability coverage on December 1st, 2025m=, at an approximate cost of $146 per month. R. Clark seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
