Monona County Sanitary Landfill Agency Regular Board Meeting February 17th, 2026 Chairman Keith Zediker called the meeting to order at 9:33 a.m. Present: Keith Zediker, Kirk Rose, Becky Miller, Ryan Clark, Manager Logan Persinger, Secretary/Board Secretary Amanda Yanak Approval of Minutes: Board meeting minutes from January 13th, 2026 were presented by A. Yanak. B. Miller made a motion to accept the minutes. R. Clark seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. No further discussion. Treasurer’s Report: A. Yanak presented the expenditures and CD’s were reviewed. In January, expenditures equaled $53,803.47 and deposits equaled $42,707.23. R. Clark made a motion to accept the financial statement and CD’s. B. Miller seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Secretary Report: N/A Manager’s Report: L. Persinger presented a quote for tire disposal. A. Yanak will contact them to request a revised and more competitive proposal. L. Persinger stated that the old crane got a crack in the boom, which was repaired by Billy Allen of Northside Shop. L. Persinger also noted that the new crane experienced a broken oin, and the replacement pin is expected to arrive this week. L. Persinger stated that we are awaiting responses from a few cities regarding the selection of a new board member. Chairman K. Zediker adjourned the meeting at 10:13 a.m. Next meeting is Tuesday March 10th, 2026 @ 9:30 a.m. These minutes are subject to change at the next meeting.
