Monona County Sanitary Landfill Agency Regular Board Meeting December 9th, 2025 Chairman Keith Zediker called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m. Present: Keith Zediker, Kirk Rose, Becky Miller, Ryan Clark, Charles Persinger, Manager Logan Persinger, Secretary/Board Secretary Amanda Yanak Approval of Minutes: Board meeting minutes from November 11th, 2025 were presented by A. Yanak. C. Persinger made a motion to accept the minutes. K. Rose seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. No further discussion. Treasurer’s Report: A. Yanak presented the expenditures and CD’s were reviewed. In November, expenditures equaled $75,284.96 and deposits equaled $29,668.90. B. Miller made a motion to accept the financial statement and CD’s. R. Clark seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Secretary Report: A. Yanak stated Schroer and Associates provided a copy of the FY 24/25 audit findings. Schroer and Associates will be submitting the completed audit and will schedule an appointment with the board at a later date to review the audit results. Manager’s Report: L. Persinger presented HLW Engineerings contract from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027. K. Rose made a motion to accept the contract. B. Miller seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. L. Persinger stated the telehandler has been experiencing some issues. JCB of Carroll will be onsite Thursday morning to diagnose the telehandler. Holiday Party for the employees will be held in February 2026. R. Clark made a motion to give full time employees a bonus of $500 after taxes and the part-time employee a bonus if $250 after taxes. K. Rose seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Chairman K. Zediker adjourned the meeting at 10:11 a.m. Next meeting is Tuesday January 13th, 2026 @ 9:30 a.m. These minutes are subject to change at the next meeting.
