Monona County Sanitary Landfill Agency Regular Board Meeting August 12th, 2025 Chairman Keith Zediker called the meeting to order at 9:28 a.m. Present: Keith Zediker, Kirk Rose, Becky Miller, Ryan Clark, Charles Persinger, Manager Logan Persinger, Secretary/Board Secretary Amanda Yanak, Approval of Minutes: Board meeting minutes from July 12th, 2025 were presented by A. Yanak. K. Rose made a motion to accept the minutes. C. Peringer seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. No further discussion. Treasurer’s Report: A. Yanak presented the expenditures and CD’s were reviewed. In July, expenditures equaled $97,377.54 and deposits equaled $214,127.87. C. Persinger made a motion to accept the financial statement and CD’s. R. Clark seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Secretary’s Report: A. Yanak stated the check from International Paper for the recycling has been received. Manager’s Report: L. Persinger stated he will start getting quotes for new tires for the telehandler. L. Persinger stated Spencer will be coming in to fill in as needed. L. Persinger presented information on short-term and long-term disability policies. K. Rose made a motion to adopt short-term disability coverage for all full-time employees. B. Miller seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. C. Persinger made a motion to authorize spending up to $1,000 for auction items for the R. Gotto benefit. B. Miller seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Chairman K. Zediker adjourned the meeting at 10:04 a.m. Next meeting is Tuesday September 16th, 2025 @ 9:30 a.m. These minutes are subject to change at the next meeting.
