Minutes of the Special Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Schleswig Community School District April 29, 2025 Call to Order: President Gurney called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Members Present: Cindy March, Rachel Jacobsen, Danette Miller Absent: Jason Schneider Administration: Dr. Kim Buryanek, Superintendent Others Present: None Correspondence: None The board appointed Dr. Buryanek secretary pro-tem. Consent Items - A motion was made by Rachel Jacobsen, seconded by Cindy March to approve the consent item (agenda). Motion carried 4-0. Superintendent Report Approve Out-of-State Trip for 1st and 2nd Graders on April 30, 2025 to The Rose Theater in Omaha, NE and for 8th Graders on May 14-15, 2025 to Omaha, Fremont and Lincoln, NE – Cindy March moved, seconded by Rachel Jacobsen to approve the out-of-state trips for 1st and 2nd graders and for 8th graders. Motion carried 4-0. Reminder of May 12, 2025 at 5:30 pm Board Meeting Adjournment-There being no further business to come before the Board for consideration at this time, the meeting was adjourned at 5:33 pm.
