Personnel Report Resignations- None Appointments- None Superintendent Report Approve 2025-2026 Consortium Agreement with Children’s Square and Heartland Family Service – Rachel Jacobsen moved, seconded by Cindy March to approve the agreement as presented. Motion carried 4-0. Approve Contract with Richards Counseling & Consulting – Rachel Jacobsen moved, seconded by Danette Miller to approve the contract as presented. Motion carried 4-0. Approve 2025-2026 Seasonal Propane Contract with Johnson Propane Heating & Cooling, Inc – Cindy March moved, seconded by Danette Miller to approve the $48,280 contract as presented with the additional summer fill. Motion carried 4-0. Approve Legislative Priorities for 2026 – Cindy March moved, seconded by Rachel Jacobsen to approve the following legislative priorities: All schools (including non-public and homeschool) should be accountable and transparent to receive tax dollars, adequate supplemental state aid, allowing school boards to make decisions affecting schools, and mental health. Motion Carried 4-0. Discuss Promotional Campaign – Dr. Buryanek reported she contacted Bass Advertising to create a promotional campaign for the district. The proposal included TV ads for CTV or streaming, radio, and Facebook. Costs ranged from $11,700-$19,700. The Board requested Dr. Buryanek gather more information about a social media campaign only which would cost approximately $3,000. Reminder of August 19, 2025 Back-to-School Bash from 4:00-7:00 pm and September 8, 2025 regular school board meeting at 5:30 pm Adjournment-There being no further business to come before the Board for consideration at this time, the meeting was adjourned at 6:10 pm.
