Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa September 9, 2025 The regular meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held September 9, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at the City Hall council chambers. Present were Jim Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Employees present were Karla Uhl, Nate LeFebvre, Teresa Steinhoff and Jayden McFarland. Blair Metzger, DGR engineer, joined the meeting by Teams video. Motion by Chris Blake second by Daniel Comes to approve paying the bills as presented, accepting the profit and loss report and the minutes from the previous meeting. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to agree to provide single health insurance with no contribution to HSA account for Karla Uhl from March 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 upon her retirement. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Next meeting will be October 14, 2025 1:00 p.m. with a Mapleton Communications Board meeting the same day at noon. Meeting adjourned. ATTEST Karla K.
