Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa September 8, 2026 The regular meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held September 8, 2026, at 12:42 P.M. in the Community Center Building. Members present were James R. Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Others in attendance were Ashley Mohr, Jayden McFarland, Nate Lefebvre and Mayor Brent Streck. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve payment of bills as presented. All ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to accept financial statements. All ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve the agenda and minutes from July and August meetings. All ayes. Motion carried. Motion Dan Comes, second by Chris Blake to approve the estimate from Linc Underground & Fiber Services for $28,000. All ayes. Motion carried. Next meeting is scheduled for October 13, 2026, at noon.
