Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa November 13, 2025 The regular meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held November 13, 2025, 12:00 noon at the City Hall council chambers. Present were Jim Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Employees present were Karla Uhl, Nate LeFebvre, Teresa Steinhoff and Jayden McFarland. Motion by Dan Comes second by Chris Blake to approve paying the bills as presented, accepting the profit and loss report and the minutes from the previous meeting. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve $150.00 per week on call for Nate and Jayden starting immediately. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve payment to Damian Bridgeman for $217.00 for furnace repair. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Dan Comes, second by Chris Blake to purchase a dump trailer for the cost of $10,895.00. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to reimburse Randy Colshan $64.09 for fence repair costs. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Daniel Comes, second by Chris Blake to pass Resolution transferring $6,000.00 to the MCYLA program for recreation support. Ayes: All. Motion carried.
