Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa June 16, 2025 The regular meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held June 16, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at the City Hall council chambers. Present were Jim Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Employees present were Karla Uhl, Nate LeFebvre, Teresa Steinhoff and Jayden McFarland. Also present was Mayor Brent Streck. Motion by Dan Comes second by Chris Blake to approve paying the bills as presented, accepting the profit and loss report and the minutes from the previous meeting. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to split the cost with the city for a generational swing for the city park after $1,500.00 grant was received from POET for the purchase of a handicap swing.
