Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa January 6, 2026 The special meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held January 6, 2026, 4:00 p.m. at the City Hall council chambers. Present were Jim Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Employee present was Karla Uhl. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve the board will be hiring one position, electric clerk combination with the communications clerk and the city will be hiring the deputy clerk position.
