Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa January 14, 2025 The regular meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held January 14, 2025, 12:00 noon at the City Hall council chambers. Present were Jim Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Employees present were Karla Uhl, Teresa Steinhoff, Nate LeFebvre and Jayden McFarland. Motion by Dan Comes second by Chris Blake to approve paying the bills as presented, accepting the profit and loss report and the minutes from the previous meeting. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve $48,316.74 to the City of Mapleton in lieu of taxes. Ayes: Chris Blake, Daniel Comes, Jim Else. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to appoint Jim Else Designation of Authorized Representative to WIMECA. Ayes: All. Motion carried.
