Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa February 17, 2026 The regular meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held February 17, 2026, 12:55 p.m. at the City Hall council chambers. Present were Jim Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Employee present was Karla Uhl, Teresa Steinhoff, Nate LeFebvre and Ashley Mohr. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve the minutes, financial statements and payment of bills as presented. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Daniel Comes, second by Chris Blake to approve removing Karla Uhl as signatory on the bank account First Security Bank and adding Ashley Mohr. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Next month’s meeting will have a resolution for fiscal policies going forward for signatures for large purchases. Motion Daniel Comes, seconded by Chris Blake to approve the discussed electric budget. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Next meeting will be March 12, 2026.
