Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa August 11, 2026 The regular meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held August 11, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. in the City Hall council chambers. Members present were James R. Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Others in attendance were Ashley Mohr, Jayden McFarland, Nate Lefebvre and Mayor Brent Streck. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve payment of bills as presented. All ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to accept financial statements. All ayes. Motion carried. Motion by James R. Else, second by Chris Blake to approve allowing the Fourth of July Committee to store their newly purchased cooler trailer in the old cement plant owned by the electric department. All ayes. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve the $600/months HSA benefit for Ashley Mohr retroactive to March 1, 2026. All ayes. Motion carried. Next meeting is scheduled for September 8, 2026, following the Mapleton Communications meeting at noon.
