Iowa County Treasurer’s E-Government Alliance Web Policy Group Meeting Minutes Thursday, October 17, 2024 10:00 AM Leadership Conference Sioux City, IA – Hilton Garden InnRoll Call:  Present were Amy Johnson, Amy Picray, Abby Riesberg, Barb Vance, Beth Gerlach, Carolyn Blum, Hannah Gwinn, Isabel Andrade for Danelle Haberman, Linda Manwarren, Nikki Fessler, Robin Jamison, and Shelly Sitzman. Approve Minutes from May 14, 2024:  Moved by Amy P., seconded by Shelly Sitzman, all ayes. Proposed Future Enhancements for FY 2025: Enhance calendar function to send automatic reminders; delinquent notices, IDR credit affidavits, subsequent payments, etc. Motion to Pass by Amy P., seconded by Barb Vendors/Partners: Enhance vendor registration to include disclaimer (Iowa gift law, expectations during and outside of conference, drawings, and sponsorships, etc) that requires acknowledgement by vendor. Create a database of active and inactive vendor registrations as vendors sign up. Add “Contact Us” to be a new Partner link that leads to a fillable screen for vendor/partner to receive additional communication from Vendor Committee. Motion by Amy P., seconded by Barb Enhance reporting criteria for escrow companies for specific parcels; 2022 – Paid or Delinquent (Catalis: We have delinquent amounts but we do not have paid) 2023 – Paid or Delinquent (Catalis: We have delinquent amounts but we do not have paid) Year of Tax Sale (Catalis: If it were an active tax sale certificate, we would have the year. Once it is redeemed, we do not receive that information anymore.) Redeemed or active tax sale (Catalis: If it were an active tax sale certificate, we would have the year. Once it is redeemed, we do not receive that information anymore.) If Tax sale, base amount for that parcel (Catalis: only get that for the active tax sale certificate)
Motion to pass by Amy  P., seconded by Barb Enhance for a notification to display on Dashboard when new documents are uploaded to the Library/Knowledge folders. FAILED Enhance the Library/Knowledge documents to have “preview document” instead of “Download” to prevent unnecessary files accumulating on the PCs download folder taking up unnecessary space. Motion to pass by Amy P., seconded by Nikki Develop a survey link (like Survey Monkey). Motion to pass by Barb, seconded by Amy P. Enhance the search criteria to include receipt number in addition to parcel number to aid in efficiency. Motion to pass by Amy P., seconded by Beth Enhancement for customer to verify/review parcels current mailing address when an online payment is completed. This will aid in keeping addresses up to date in the County’s software to prevent returned statements/notices in the mail. Motion to pass by Amy P., seconded by Robin. Other Items: Amy Johnson, ICTEA Vice-Chair, provided an update of the RFP process.
