Amy emailed out two documents to the group, one outlining the goals we have in hiring a consultant and one containing questions for the consultant to determine if they can assist us. We will see what our 2:00 Teams meeting brings. Treasurer’s Report: The ending balance as of January 7, 2026 was $1,145,051.75, which includes the IPAIT account. Shem and Anita will be working on a few items. The “authorization” was removed by Shem in early October after the glitch in Sept. as it was noted those happened around the same time and caused some of the reconciling issues. Timing may be a reason there’s a larger balance at the end of each month. Catalis: Linda reported that the deposits from Tuesday did not go out due to the account change being done earlier than expected on the FNBO side. Deposits did not go out Wednesday as well because authorization was needed by Catalis to go in and make the change. So all the moneys to be deposited have not gone out. Linda reiterated with Catalis the urgency in getting these out. She will get in contact today with Renee, who is Steve’s assistant. -Returned Payments – couple counties doing paper checks. Linda has called on two counties and will follow up again today with Fayette & Madison (2 counties with frequent delayed reimbursements). -Tax Sale Bidder Info/Subs Payment updates – no update -ADA requirements – Catalis is working on but no further updates DOT Modernization updates: Ted reported that trainings are going on for those who are utilizing the scheduling. Julie Johnson is leaving her position for another in DOT. Ted also commented that DOT is giving pushback on the treasurers’ choice in a new MV Renewal statement vendor. More to come. IOP Inventory – discussed fine-tuning our inventory of credit card machines. Will do a survey to see what machines may be out there that treasurers are not using. For the possibility we utilize those for DL counties. Shelly will work with Linda to come up with survey. Website Domain- Ted suggested we consider obtaining the domain iowatreasure.org as this was a site a customer started to input payment information erroneously. No action taken. RFP -we have a Zoom meeting for 2:00 today, Jan 7th with Accenture to determine if ICTEA can be assisted with our RFP for a new web host. Next ICTEA Board Meeting: Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 9:30, via Microsoft Teams Motion to adjourn meeting by Ted, second by Shelly, all ayes. Respectfully submitted, Shelly Sitzmann MP1-22-26
