Iowa County Treasurer’s E-Government Alliance Board of Directors Meeting Minutes Wednesday, November 26, 2025, 9:30 AM – Microsoft Teams Dear ICTEA Members, As part of our ongoing review of returned payment processing, we identified several counties that are not currently using the Auto Reimburse setting for returned payments. The following counties are not enabled at this time: Allamakee, Appanoose, Benton, Black Hawk, Boone, Buena Vista, Butler, Carroll, Cass, Cherokee, Clarke, Clay, Clinton, Crawford, Davis, Decatur, Delaware, Des Moines, Dubuque, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Howard, Humboldt, Jasper, Keokuk, Kossuth, Lee, Louisa, Madison, Mahaska, Marshall, Mitchell, Monroe, Montgomery, Osceola, Sac, Scott, Shelby, Sioux, Story, Van Buren, Wapello, Warren, Winneshiek, Worth We kindly ask these counties to consider enabling Auto Reimburse. This change offers several important benefits—for your staff, for ICTEA, and for audit accuracy. Why consider enabling Auto Reimburse? - It eliminates the need for staff to be present to process reimbursements. Manual reimbursement requires someone to be available at that moment to take action. Auto Reimburse does the work for you—automatically and reliably. - It protects you during time away. If you’re out for a few days or on vacation, you won’t have to worry about reimbursements piling up or being delayed. The system handles it for you. - It ensures ICTEA is reimbursed timely. We are seeing delays in reimbursement from some counties, and Auto Reimburse fully resolves this issue by ensuring ICTEA remains whole without manual follow-up. - It improves audit results. Delayed reimbursements are being noted in our monthly audits. Auto Reimburse ensures timely, consistent reimbursement activity—reflecting positively in audit reporting. If your county would like to enable this setting 1. Go to County Setup 2. Change Auto Reimburse to “Yes” 3. Save your changes Once enabled, the system will automatically pull funds from the appropriate correct Tax or Tag account when a return is generated, and an email notification will be sent to any user with “Receive System Emails” turned on.  We appreciate your time in reviewing your county’s configuration and considering this change. If you have any questions or would like assistance, please feel free to reach out. Sincerely, [Your Name] ICTEA MP12-11-25
