Iowa County Treasurer’s E-Government Alliance Board of Directors Meeting Minutes Thursday, November 13, 2024 9:30 AM - Microsoft Teams Present: Abby Riesberg, Amy Johnson, Barb Vance, Beth Gerlach, Mark Meyers, Chad Murray, Linda Manwarren, Marc Carr Minutes from October 30, 2024, Board Meeting were approved with a motion by Beth, second by Amy, all ayes. Treasurer’s Report: There is an ending balance on November 13, 2024 of $1,406,959.53 which includes IPAIT account. Approved with a motion by Abby, second by Amy, all ayes. Checks Written: 7017, The Mapleton Press, 101.05 7018, T.P. Anderson & Co. P.C., 8,000.00 EFT Debits and Transfers: Catalis, Monthly Pymt, 52,269.00 Deposits and Transfers: Interest, Operating Acct., 571.60 Interest, Adjustment, 0.02 Interest, Merch Acct., 742.00 Interest, Adjustment, 0.46 Interest, Clearing Acct., 12,998.50 Merchant Services: Marc informed the board members of recent fraud trends on the website and implemented an additional step to prevent future transactions. Linda is working with Lereta as check 7016 was returned by mail and will communicate with Beth. RFP: Mark updated board members that the RFP Committee reviewed their second draft of the RFP. RFP Committee requested updated ICTEA payment flowchart, and statistics for online payments and tax sale. Marc will work on providing appropriate reports. Mark will communicate with RFP Committee Chair, Brenda, about County Attorney reviewing drafted version of RFP. Annual Audit: Joe Pena, CPA with T.P. Anderson & Company, has all the documents necessary for the audit and the invoice paid. Waiting on final report. NMI: After numerous Counties reporting fee discrepancies to the board, Shem discovered an update rolled out in the afternoon of 10-31-24. The software enhancement was implemented without Shem’s or ICTEA Board knowledge. To resolve the fee discrepancies, the software was resorted back to the version as of 10-30-2024 until further testing and meeting can be held. Catalis: No update from Marc. Linda reviewed some details on enhancement requests submitted by the Web Policy group. Proposed Future Web Enhancements: Add fields for valuation for current tax year and future tax year for scheduled pmts. - 8 estimated hours – waiting on info. from Solutions and Tyler Find solution to prevent out-of-order payment. Example: previous year taxes are delinquent, but taxpayer pays current year before previous year. – 12 estimated hours – pulled enhancement back to adjust enhancement as causing issue for taxpayer when paying special assessments, 8-7-24.
