City of Mapleton Minutes –Special Council Meeting April 27, 2026 A special meeting of the city council was held April 27th, 2026 at 5:30 pm. Roll call was taken with the following members present, Mayor Brent Streck, Abby Koenigs and Alan Nielsen. Travis Kaufman and Jacob Zawodny were present via phone. Joe Hogan was absent. Motion by Abby Koenigs, second by Alan Nielsen to open the meeting and approve the order of the agenda. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Alan Nielsen, second by Jacob Zawodny to open the public hearing for the 26-27 budget. Ayes: All. Motion carried. No comments questions were made by the public. Motion by Abby Koenigs, second by Jacob Zawodny to close the public hearing for the 26-27 budget. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Abby Koenigs, second by Alan Nielsen to approve resolution 2026-7 for the 26-27 budget. Ayes: Alan Nielsen, Abby Koenigs, Jacob Zawodny, and Travis Kaufman. Motion Carried. Nays: none.
