City of Mapleton Minutes –Special Council Meeting April 13, 2026 A special meeting of the city council was held April 13th, 2026 at 5:30 pm. Roll call was taken with the following members present, Mayor Brent Streck, Abby Koenigs, Joe Hogan, Alan Nielsen, and Travis Kaufman. Jacob Zawodny was absent. Motion by Joe Hogan, second by Travis Kaufman to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Abby Koenigs, second by Joe Hogan to approve the agenda. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Joe Hogan, second by Alan Nielsen to approve resolution 2026-5 authorizing the execution of an amendment to its gas supply agreement with PEFA, Inc in connection with the reset of the available discount in PEFA, Inc’s gas prepayment project; approving the issuance of bonds by PEFA, Inc; and related matters. Ayes: Travis Kaufman, Alan Nielsen, Abby Koenigs, and Joe Hogan. Nays: none. Absent: Jacob Zawodny. Motion carried. Motion by Abby Koenigs, second by Joe Hogan to approve setting the budget adoption meeting on April 27, 2026. Ayes: All. Motion Carried.
