City of Mapleton Minutes – Public Hearing June 10, 2026 The public hearing for the city council was held Wednesday June 10, 2026, at 5:15 pm. Roll call was taken with the following members present, Mayor Brent Streck, Abby Koenigs, Alan Nielsen, Travis Kaufman, Jacob Zawodny, and Joe Hogan. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Attorney Mike Schmiedt from Crary Huff was present. Motion by Joe Hogan, second by Jacob Zawodny, to approve the agenda. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Abby Koenigs, second by Alan Nielsen to approve opening the public meeting for the sale of city lots. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Joe Hogan, second by Jacob Zawodny to approve the resolution of the sale of lots 21-24 Tower Loop and 201 N 6th Street. Ayes: Alan Nielsen, Abby Koenigs, Jacob Zawodny, Joe Hogan, and Travis Kaufman Ayes: All. Motion carried. Nays: none.
