City of Mapleton Minutes – Emergency Council Meeting August 3, 2026 10:30 am An emergency meeting of the city council was held Monday, August 3 2026, 10:30 am. Roll call was taken with the following members present, Mayor Brent Streck, Abby Koenigs, Travis Kaufman, and Alan Nielsen. Jacob Zawodny and Joe Hogan were absent. Karen Koenigs was also present. Motion by Abby Koenigs, second by Alan Nielsen to approve the agenda. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Abby Koenigs, second by Travis Kaufman to approve resolution 2026-13 for authorizing the assessment of unpaid nuisance abatement costs. Ayes: Abby Koenigs, Travis Kaufman, and Alan Nielsen. Nays: none. Absent: Jacob Zawodny and Joe Hogan. Motion carried. Motion by Alan Nielsen, second by Abby Koenigs to approve resolution 2026-14 certifying delinquent utility charges to county treasurer. Ayes: Abby Koenigs, Travis Kaufman, and Alan Nielsen. Nays: none. Absent: Jacob Zawodny and Joe Hogan. Motion carried. Motion by Abby Koenigs, second by Travis Kaufman to adjourn at 10:46 am. Ayes: All. Motion carried.
