CHARTER OAK-UTE COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING WENESDAY MAY 14, 2025 The Board of Directors of the Charter Oak-Ute Community School on the above date in the Charter Oak Center with Directors Hadden, Klinker, Weed, Superintendent Eggeling and Secretary Carstens present. Director McAndrews and Director Amunson were absent. Vice President Hadden called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. It was moved by Weed, seconded by Klinker to approve the board agenda as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Weed to approve the consent items as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried. Approval of Minutes of Regular Meeting on April 23, 2025 Approval of Minutes of Budget Hearing Meeting on April 23, 2025 Fundraising Approvals All Financial Reports Invoices for Payment Superintendent Eggeling discussed school board appreciation month, carpet, tuck pointing, budget amendment, summer school, concerts, bookfair, morp, awards day, end of school year, enrollment, employment and insurance. It was moved by Weed, seconded by Klinker to approve the 2025-2026 teacher handbook. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Weed to approve the agreement with Sarah Ingram’s Cleaning. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Weed, seconded by Klinker to approve the administrative salaries 5.53% increase for 2025-2026 school year. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Weed to approve the salary acknowledgement for Lilly Hahn at $13.00 an hour. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Weed to set the June board meeting on June 25, 2025 at 3pm. Ayes all. Motion carried. The board discussed future agenda items: superintendent evaluations, tuck pointing quote, furniture and insurance information. There being no further business it was moved by Klinker, seconded by Weed at 5:50 p.m. Ayes all. Motion carried.
