CHARTER OAK-UTE COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 15, 2025 The Board of Directors of the Charter Oak-Ute Community School on the above date in the Charter Oak Center with Haden, Klinker, Weed, McAndrews, Amunson, Superintendent Eggeling and Secretary Carstens present. President McAndrews called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Hadden to approve the board agenda as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Hadden, seconded by Weed to approve the consent items as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried. -Approval of Minutes of Regular Meeting on September 10, 2025 -Fundraising Approvals -All Financial Reports -Invoices for Payment Superintendent Eggeling discussed enrollment, computers, PBIS-pumpkin patch, band, homecoming, secretary/nurse position, state reporting and election. It was moved by Eggeling, seconded by Amunson to appoint Melanie McAndrews as the school IASB Delegate. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Hadden to approve the 2024-2025 Special Educaton Report. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Weed, seconded by Hadden to approve the 2024-2025 Modified Growth and Support Aide for Special Education. Roll call vote: Amunson- Ayes, Klinker- Ayes, Hadden – Ayes, Weed – Ayes, McAndrews – Ayes. Motion carried. It was moved by Hadden, seconded by Amunson to approve the 2024-2025 Transportation Report. Ayes all. Motion carried. The board tabled the CAR Report. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Hadden to approve the resolution to participate in the Instructional Support Program. Roll call vote: McAndrews – Ayes, Weed – Ayes, Hadden- Ayes, Klinker- Ayes, Amunson – Ayes. Motion carried. It was moved by Hadden, seconded by Weed to set the Instructional Support Program Public Hearing for November 19, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Weed to set the November Board Meeting for November 19, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Hadden, seconded by Klinker to approve the 2024 Audit. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Weed, seconded by Amunson to approve transfer of excess categorical funds to flexibility fund. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Hadden, seconded by Klinker to set public hearing date for use of flexibility fund for November 19, 20205 at 5:00 p.m. Ayes all. Motion carried Future agenda items: annual and organizational meeting. There being no further business it was moved by Amunson, seconded by Hadden to adjourn the meeting at 5:57 p.m. Ayes all.
