CHARTER OAK-Ute COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 14, 2026 The Board of Directors of the Charter Oak-Ute School met on the above date in the Charter Oak Center with Directors Hadden,Klinker,Weed, McAndrews, Amunson, Superintendent Eggeling and Secretary Carstens present. Also present was Ace Staley and Madelyn Petersen. President McAndrews called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. It was moved by Hadden, seconded by Klinker to approve the agenda for Regular Meeting. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Amunson to approve the consent items. Ayes all. Motion carried. Approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting on December 10, 2025 Approval of all Financial Reports Approval of the all invoices for payment Approval of fundraising requests Superintendent Eggeling discussed whole grad sharing agreement, NWAEA amended contract, budget workshop, IDEA- Dept of Education Special Ed., ISAS – March training, ADA compliance, gym curtain and extenders and workout equipment in weight room. The board discussed the proposed 2026-2027 school calendar. It was moved by Amunson, seconded by Hadden to approve the drivers’ education fees $300.00 for resident students and $350.00 for non resident students. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker ,seconded by Weed to approve the drivers’ education contract for Leila Kuhlmann at $215.00 per student. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Amunson, seconded by Hadden to assign Melanie McAndrews and Adam Hadden to the districts negotiation team. Ayes all. Motion carried. The board discussed future agenda items. There being no further business it was moved by Amunson, seconded by Hadden to adjourn the meeting 5:56 p.m. Ayes all. Motion carried.
