Charter Oak City Council Special Meeting Minutes January 21, 2025 The Charter Oak City Council met in special session on January 21, 2025. Mayor Peggy Staley called the meeting to order at 6:31 PM. Members present were Alec Castillo, Ben Heyne, Russ Maack, Tracy Helmhold and Nathan Mohr. Others in attendance were Ashley Mohr, Craig Warnock, Tom Grafft and Matt Knowles. Motion Mohr/Helmhold to approve the agenda. All ayes. Motion carried. Council met with Tom Grafft from ISG Engineering to discuss needed upgrades and funding to begin using the city water treatment plant again. Member Helmhold left the meeting at 8:40 PM. Motion Mohr/Castillo to increase sewer minimum $10.00, sewer usage $1.25, and water minimum $5.00. These rate increases will not go into effect until the March billing cycle. All ayes.
