Charter Oak City Council Meeting Minutes July 23, 2025 The Charter Oak City Council met in special session on July 23, 2025. Mayor Peggy Staley called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. Members present were Alec Castillo, Russ Maack and Nathan Mohr. Members absent were Jason French. Others in attendance were Ashley Mohr, Craig Warnock, Justin Welte, Matt and Melinda Knowles. Motion Mohr/Castillo to approve agenda. All ayes. Motion carried. Motion Mohr/Castillo to continue to proceed with asbestos removal and demolition of 137 Main Street. Ayes: Mohr/Castillo. Nays: Maack. Motion carried. Mayor discussed the status of water tower repainting with the council. No action taken. Council reviewed draft code of ordinances. Motion Castillo/Mohr to adjourn at 8:43 p.m. All ayes.
