NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Monona County Board of Supervisors, acting under the authority of Iowa Code Chapter 30 & 309, proposes to classify a section Monona County Secondary Road, described as follows: On 265th Steet, beginning at a point 1,747.68 feet easterly of the intersection of County Highway L31 and 265th Street, said intersection being described in the original consent petition as located near the NW corner of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 27, Township 83 North, Range 44 West; thence easterly along 265th Street a distance of 2,867.04 feet to the point of termination of 265th Street near the west line of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 26, Township 83 North, Range 44 West. A hearing will be held by the Monona County Board of Supervisors in their office, Monona County Courthouse, 610 Iowa Ave. Onawa, IA 51040, at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday July 21, 2026. The hearing will allow for statements for and against the proposed road classification.
