Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Amendment to Zoning Ordinance TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: You are hereby notified that at 5:30 o’clock p.m, on the 11th day of March, 2024, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Schleswig, Iowa, there will be conducted a public hearing before the Planning and Zoning Commission on whether or not to amend the City’s Zoning Ordinances, proposing the following change: The following described real estate shall be changed from Zone Classification A-1 Agriculture to C-1 Light Commercial District: Lot 1 of the SE3/4 NE3/4 Section 24, Township 85 North, Range 40 West, in the City of Schleswig, Crawford County, Iowa as more particularly described as follows: Commencing ot the East Quarter Corner Section 24, Township 85 North, Range 40 West, Crawford County, Iowa; thence along Section Line, North 01 degrees 36 minutes 50 seconds East 97.19 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence deporting soid line, North BB degrees 23 minutes 10 seconds West 370.00 feet; thence North 01 degrees 36 minutes 50 seconds East 350.00 feet; thence South BB degrees 23 minutes 10 seconds East 370.00 feet; thence along Section Line, South 01 degrees 36 minutes 50 seconds West 350.00 feet to the point of beginning. The above-described tract of land contains 2.97 acres, more or less, inclusive of public rood right-of-way and 2.24 acres, more or less, exclusive of public rood right-of-way and is subject to recorded and unrecorded easements, restrictions and rights-of-way.
