Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa July 11, 2023 The regular meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held July 11, 2023, 12:00 noon at the City Hall council chambers. Present were Jim Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Employees present was Karla Uhl, Teresa Steinhoff, Nate LeFebvre and Jayden McFarland. Also present was Mayor Brent Streck. Motion by Dan Comes second by Chris Blake to approve minutes from the previous meeting, the financial statement and payment of bills. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve applying for an Iowa Brownfield Redevelopment Program Community Assistance Grant for up to $24,999.00 to assist in clean-up at 107 South Front Street.
