Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa January 16, 2024 The regular meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held January 16, 2024, 12:00 noon at the City Hall council chambers. Present were Jim Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Employees present were Karla Uhl, Teresa Steinhoff and Nate LeFebvre. Also present was Mayor Brent Streck. Motion by Chris Blake second by Daniel Comes to approve minutes from the previous meeting, the financial statement and payment of bills. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve Resolution authorizing 3% in Lieu of Taxes transferred to the City of Mapleton in the amount of $49,969.00. Ayes: Daniel Comes, Chris Blake, Jim Else. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to appoint Jim Else as Designated Authorized Representative to WIMECA. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned. Next meeting will be February 13, 2024. Mapleton Communications will meet at 12:00-1:00 and the electric board will follow. ATTEST Karla K.
