City of Charter Oak PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The City of Charter Oak lowa is hereby serving as Public Notice that on April 6, 2026, at 7:00 pam., the City Council will hold a public hearing during a special City Council meeting to consider the submission of an application for a Community Development Block Grant. The grant application will request funding assistance for water main improvements throughout the City. This meeting will be held to give residents information concerning the proposed project. Citizens are encouraged to attend and express their preferences about the proposed activities. Residents are able to provide comments in writing in advance of the meeting by email to cocityclerk@frontiernet.net or by mail to PO Box 74, Chater Oak, IA 51439. Additionally, citizens who wish to participate in the public hearing can do so by attending in person on April 6, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Charter Oak City Hall, 453 Railroad, Chater Oak, Iowa.
