Monona County Sanitary Landfill Agency Regular Board Meeting January 10th, 2023 Chairman Keith Zediker called the meeting to order at 9:34 am. Present: Keith Zediker, Becky Miller, Kirk Rose, Ryan Clark, Manager Logan Persinger, and Office Secretary/Board Secretary Amanda Yanak Absent: Chad Carrier Approval of Minutes: Board meeting minutes from December 13th, 2022 were presented by A. Yanak. B. Miller made a motion to accept the minutes. R. Clark seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. No further discussion. Treasurers Report: Expenditures and CD’s were reviewed. In December, expenditures equalled $61,425.10 and deposits equalled $252,985.58. R. Clark made a motion to accept the financial statements as proposed. K. Rose seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. A.Yanak suggested to move the last CD from Security National Bank to Shelby County State Bank for a higher interest rate. K. Rose made a motion to move the CD. B. Miller seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. R. Clark & K. Zediker will get it moved on January 11th, 2023. Secretary’s Report: A. Yanak stated that at the last meeting the board made a motion to charge 3.4% convince charge to cover the cost of the fee for credit cards. A. Yanak stated in fine print it states that quickbooks also charges $0.25 per transaction. Discussion was had about coverage for the $0.25. A. Yanak is to find out more information and report back at the next meeting. A.Yanak stated that she mailed out a check number 10266 back in November to Habben Enterprises for tire recycling and they have not received the check. She sent out a new check number 10291 at the end of December to replace the other check. Manager’s Report: L. Persinger stated that he is waiting to hear back from Prichard’s to fix the old crane. Chairman K. Zediker adjourned the meeting at 10:22 a.m. Next meeting is Tuesday February 14th @ 9:30 a.m. These minutes are subject to change at the next meeting.
