Monona County Sanitary Landfill Agency Regular Board Meeting June 14th, 2022 Chairman Keith Zediker called the meeting to order at 9:35 am. Present: Keith Zediker, Becky Miller, Wesley Miller, Ryan Clark, Manager Logan Persinger, and Office Secretary/Board Secretary Amanda Yanak. Absent: Chad Carrier Approval of Minutes: Board meeting minutes from May 10th, 2022 were presented by A. Yanak. W. Miller made a motion to accept the minutes. B. Miller seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. No further discussion Treasurers Report: Expenditures and CD’s were reviewed. In May expenditures equalled $105,818.07 and deposits equalled $28,998.24. B. Miller made a motion to accept the financial statements as proposed. R. Clark seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Secretary’s Report: A. Yanak presented that K. Zediker signed a 3 year contract with Schroer and Associates P.C. for the landfill’s Fiscal Year audits. Manager’s Report: L. Persinger gave an update on one of the bins. The bin has been taken to be repaired and then will be sandblasted and painted. This will take a few months to complete the project. This bin will be a cardboard bin and placed in Hornick. L. Persinger gave an update on a gate for the lean-too. The gate will be purchased and installed this month. L. Persinger presented the rate to dispose tires is $300/ton. After discussion of the rates B. Miller made a motion to raise tire rates to $0.15/l or $7/car tire, effective July 1st, 2022. R. Clark seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. L. Persinger stated that the telehandler will be needing new tires. L. Persinger is to look into cost of different tires and report back at the next meeting. Chairman K.
