Monona County Sanitary Landfill Agency Regular Board Meeting June 13th, 2023 Chairman Keith Zediker called the meeting to order at 9:30 am. Present: Keith Zediker, Becky Miller, Kirk Rose, Manager Logan Persinger, Absent: Ryan Clark and Office Secretary/Board Secretary Amanda Yanak Approval of Minutes: Board meeting minutes from May 9th, 2023 were presented by L.Persinger. K. Rose made a motion to accept the minutes. B. Miller seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. No further discussion. Treasurers Report: Expenditures and CD’s were reviewed. In April and May, expenditures equalled $121,249.97 and deposits equalled $73,112.13. B. Miller made a motion to accept the financial statements as proposed. K. Rose seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Secretary’s Report: L. Persinger presented the three bids for the landfill. After discussion A. Yanak needs to contact the three contractors to check insurance coverage. Next board meeting a decision will be made. Manager’s Report: L. Persinger stated that not all votes have been received. A. Yanak is contacting the city mayors to get their votes asap. L. Persinger stated that the crane is up and working. L. Persinger stated the crane is going to go get new tacks this week. L. Persinger stated he cleaned up the hill at the landfill by removing trees and reseeding the area. L. Perisnger stated that there are loads coming from outside of our planning zone. Discussion was held and stated to put on the agenda for next meeting. Chairman K. Zediker adjourned the meeting at 10:04 a.m. Next meeting is Tuesday July 11th @ 9:30 a.m. These minutes are subject to change at the next meeting.
