MONONA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JUNE 21, 2022 The Monona County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 8:30 a.m. o'clock on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in the boardroom of the courthouse in Onawa, Monona County, Iowa with Chairman Fox presiding. Other, Supervisors present: Tom Brouillette and Vince Phillips. Supervisor Absent: None. Also, present was Deputy Auditor Sheri Streeter. Motion was made by Supervisor Phillips, seconded by Supervisor Fox to approve the agenda. Vote on motion: All Ayes. Motion carried. Secondary Roads Engineer Dustin Wallis was present for Secondary Roads business. Motion was made by Supervisor Phillips, seconded by Supervisor Fox to award Agriland FS, Inc. the fuel contract for FY23. Vote on motion: All Ayes Motion was made by Supervisor Brouillette, seconded by Supervisor Fox to award the salt contract to BlackStrap, Inc. for FY 23. Vote on motion: All Ayes Motion was made by Supervisor Fox, seconded by Supervisor Brouillette to table Resolution No. SR 22-19 Policy on Safety Glasses Purchased. Vote on motion: All Ayes Motion was made by Supervisor Phillips, seconded by Supervisor Brouillette to approve the minutes of June 14, 2022 as read. Vote on motion: All Ayes. Motion Carried. Motion was made by Supervisor Fox, seconded by Supervisor Phillips to approve claims. Vote on motion: All Ayes. Motion Carried. Supervisor Fox attended the Monona County Conservation meeting, he shared the information presented. Motion was made by Supervisor Fox, seconded by Supervisor Phillips to acknowledge receipt of the Clerk of Court report of fees collected for May 2022. Vote on motion: All Ayes. Motion carried. Motion was made by Supervisor Brouillette, seconded by Supervisor Fox to acknowledge receipt of letter from FEMA regarding flood insurance rat map. Vote on motion: All Ayes. Motion carried. Motion was made by Supervisor Phillips, seconded by Supervisor Brouillette to authorize the chairmanís signature on Monona County and Provider Program Agreement with the Ute Senior Citizens. Vote on motion: All Ayes.
