Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa October 11, 2022 The regular meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held October 11, 2022, 12:00 noon at the City Hall council chambers. Present were Jim Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Employees present was Karla Uhl, Teresa Steinhoff, Nate LeFebvre and Jayden McFarland. Also present was Mayor Brent Streck. Motion by Chris Blake second by Daniel Comes to approve minutes from the previous meetings and payment of bills as presented. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Dan Comes, second by Jim Else to approve purchase of a reel trailer from Ditch Witch at a cost of $11,900.00. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to cover ½ of the cost of the demolition of 318 Main Street after grant proceeds for a total of $6,200.00. Ayes: All. Motion carried.
