Mapleton Municipal Utility – Mapleton, Iowa June 7, 2022 The regular meeting of the Mapleton Municipal Electric board was held June 7, 2022, 12:00 noon at the Beef N Brew meeting room, 418 Main Street, due to voting being held in the council chambers and the community center was also unavailable. Present were Jim Else, Daniel Comes and Chris Blake. Employees present was Karla Uhl, Teresa Steinhoff and Nate LeFebvre. Also present was Mayor Brent Streck and Peg Gay, librarian. Owen Zediker was also present from the City to give required safety information to the board about the natural gas system. Motion by Chris Blake second by Daniel Comes, to approve minutes from the previous meetings and payment of bills as presented. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Blake, second by Daniel Comes to approve a yearly $5,000.00 to the Mapleton Library for use in their reading programs. Ayes: All. Motion carried.
