City of Schleswig NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR THE SRF WATER QUALITY PROJECT Notice Is Hereby Given: That at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Schleswig, Iowa, on July 18, 2022, the City Council of the City of Schleswig, Iowa (the “City”) will hold a public hearing on the proposed plans and specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost (the “Contract Documents”) for the proposed SRF Water Quality Project (the “Project”). The Project shall include the construction of two new stormwater collection forebays and the rehabilitation and expansion of existing stormwater collection pond, including approximately 25,700 C.Y. excavation and embankment, water level control structures, a trash rack assembly, and related items of work. The Project shall be constructed at the existing stormwater pond and surrounding area located southwest of the corner of Hickory St. and 6th St., on the northeast corner of the golf course in Schleswig. A copy of the proposed Contract Documents is on file for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk.
