City of Mapleton Minutes - Regular Council Meeting February 8, 2023 The regular meeting of the city council was held on February 8, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. Roll call was taken with the following members present, Mayor Brent Streck, Joe Hogan, Abby Koenigs, Dian Bleil and Benita Uhl. Absent: Angie Sass. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Motion by Joe Hogan, second by Benita Uhl to approve minutes from the previous meeting. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Dian Bleil, second by Abby Koenigs to approve the order of the agenda. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Benita Uhl, second by Joe Hogan to open the public hearing regarding sale of 321 Main Street to A&B Real Estate. Ayes: All. Motion carried and public hearing was open. No comments were received. Motion by Abby Koenigs, second by Joe Hogan to close public hearing. Ayes: All. Motion carried and public hearing was closed. Motion by Benita Uhl, second by Joe Hogan to approve renewal of Hawkeye Bar liquor license. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Dian Bleil, second by Benita Uhl to approve Jill Sadler and Dan Dougherty having three chickens with the usual letter being sent to them. Ayes: Dian Bleil, Benita Uhl, Abby Koenigs. Abstain: Joe Hogan. Motion carried. Motion by Joe Hogan, second by Abby Koenigs to approve passage of Resolution 2023-8 Authorizing Property Sale of 321 Main Street to A&B Real Estate, L.L.C. Ayes: Dian Bleil, Benita Uhl, Abby Koenigs, Joe Hogan. Absent: Angie Sass. Motion carried. Motion by Dian Bleil, second by Benita Uhl to approve payment of bills as presented. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Benita Uhl, second by Joe Hogan to adjourn the meeting. Ayes: All.
