City of Charter Oak NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO VACATE STREET AND ALLEY Notice is hereby given that on the 6th day of June, 2022, the City Council of the City of Charter Oak, Iowa, adopted a Resolution proposing that the City of Charter Oak, Iowa, vacate part of the following described street and alley: All that part of an Eighty foot (80') public street (N. Spruce Ave.) located between the South boundary line of Fifth Street North and the North boundary line of Fourth Street North, all lying adjacent and abutting East of Block Five in North Charter Oak, Crawford County, Iowa. AND All that part of a sixteen foot (16') public alley located between the South boundary line of Fifth street North and the North boundary line of Fourth Street North, all lying adjacent and abutting Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,8,9,10,11, and 12 in Block Five in North Charter Oak, Crawford County, Iowa. Notice is further given that a public hearing on the foregoing proposal to vacate said street and alley, will be held by the City Council of the City of Charter Oak, Iowa, at the City Hall in Charter Oak, Iowa at 7:00 o'clock p.m. on the 11th day of July, 2022, and any person interested in said proposal may appear at the public hearing and show reasons for or against the proposed vacation of the street and alley.
