City of Charter Oak LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Charter Oak, Iowa, proposed, on behalf of said City, to sell the following described real estate, to-wit: That all that part of an Eighty Foot (80′) former public street (N. Spruce Ave.) Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot Four (4) in Block Five (5) in North Charter Oak; thence South along the East boundary line of Lots Four (4), Five (5) and Six (6) in Block Five (5) North Charter Oak to the Southeast corner of Lot Six (6) in Block Five (5) thence East Eighty Feet (80′) to the east boundary line of N. Spruce Ave.; thence North One Hundred Fifty feet (150′); thence West Eighty Feet (80′) to the point of beginning in North Charter Oak, Crawford County, Iowa. And All that part of a Sixteen Foot (16′) former public alley located between the South boundary line of Fifth Street North and the North boundary line of Fourth Street North, all lying adjacent and abutting Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,8,9,10,11, and 12 in Block Five in North Charter Oak, Crawford County, Iowa, be and the same is hereby vacated. to Mark Kuhlmann and Kelly Kuhlmann for the sum of One Dollar and No/100 ($1.00), legal costs, publication costs, and other valuable consideration to transfer said property. Final action upon the above proposal will be taken by the City Council at a meeting thereof to be held in the City Hall in Charter Oak, Iowa, on the 12th day of September, 2022, at Seven o’clock p.m. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 362.3 of the 2022 Code of Iowa, and to permit any elector to appear at the above mentioned time and place and show or urge any such reasons as he or she may wish tending to establish that the above proposal should not be enacted by Resolutions of the Council.
