CHARTER OAK-UTE COMMUNITY SCHOOLBOARD OF DIRECTORSREGULAR MEETING WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 2022 The Board of Directors of the Charter Oak-Ute School met on the above date in the Charter Oak Center with Directors Weed, Klinker, Schultz, McAndrews, Superintendent Eggeling and Secretary Carstens was present. Director Goslar was absent. Also present was Elaine Vogt. President Weed called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. It was moved by Schultz, seconded by McAndrews to approve the agenda with action item #14 tabled. Ayes all. Motion carried. President Weed welcomed the visitor. The public discussed bus school, vehicles running through stop arms and contracts with students and parents. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Schultz to approve the consent items listed below. Ayes all. Motion carried. Approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting on August 15, 2022 Fundraising Approvals All Financial Reports Invoices for Payment Superintendent Eggeling discussed enrollment projections, certificate of need, bus and vehicles, security grant, computer science grant, needs assessments and elementary report cards. It was moved by Schultz, seconded by McAndrews to approve the 2021-2022 special education report. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by McAndrews, seconded by Klinker to approve the modified growth and support aide for special education. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Schultz, seconded by Klinker to approve the 2021-2022 transportation report. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Schultz, seconded by Klinker to approve the 2021-2022 CAR report. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by McAndrews, seconded by Schultz to increase the substitute teacher pay to $135.00 effective 09/22/2022. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Schultz to approve the operational sharing positions with MVAO for 2023-2024. Ayes all. Motion carried. The board tabled the canvas results of election. The board discussed future agenda items: needs assessment, construction, school future fleet and canvas results. There being no further business, it was moved by Klinker, seconded by McAndrews to adjourn the meeting at 7:47 p.m. Ayes all. Motion carried.
