CHARTER OAK-UTE COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING MONDAY OCTOBER 17, 2022 The Board of Directors of the Charter Oak-Ute School met on the above date in the Charter Oak Center with Directors McAndrews, Klinker, Weed, Superintendent Eggeling and Secretary Carstens was present. Director Goslar and Director Schultz was absent. President Weed called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. It was moved by McAndrews, seconded by Klinker to approve the agenda as presented. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by McAndrews to approve the consent items listed below. Ayes all. Motion carried. Approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting on October 17, 2022 Fundraising Approvals All Financials Reports Invoices for Payment Superintendent Eggeling discussed enrollment projections, IASB conferences, career academy, SBRC, ESSA designations, security grant, conferences, winter sports, vehicles, reading curriculum and bulk ordering. It was moved by McAndrews, seconded by Klinker to appoint Randy Weed as the IASB Delegate. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by McAndrews to approve the election results. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by McAndrews to approve the new and adjusted board policies presented. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by McAndrews, seconded by Klinker to waive the first reading consider this the second reading and approve the new and adjusted board policies presented. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by McAndrews to approve the IDATP Bus Driver Testing program. Ayes all. Motion carried. The board discussed future agenda items; certificate of need update, bus cameras, ESSA and school vehicle fleet. There being no further business, it was moved by McAndrews, seconded by Klinker to adjourn the meeting at 6:54 p.m. Ayes all. Motion carried.
